• Romanian Language dictionary, 1975 edition, says :
  “ Investigator : secret agent for police department in some countries or in service of a private person.”
• As well, in volume 2 of the Encyclopaedic Dictionary, Bucharest, 1996, this subject is presented such as :
  “Investigator : private agent or agent for police department who collects data, information, or investigates for a natural or a legal person”.
